Effect of cross-linker and hardening agent on the properties of aluminum hydroxide/poly(methyl methacrylate) composites |
초록 |
Aluminum hydroxide (ATH)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) composites are applied to the various interior materials as an artificial marble. The physical and mechanical properties of the artificial marbles depend largely on the cross-linker and the hardening agent. The effects of the content of both cross-linker and hardening agent on the mechanical strength, thermal properties, chemical resistance, and hardening characteristics were studied. The curing reaction characteristics were investigated by monitoring the variation of temperature depending on the reaction time. The surface hardness of the cured composites was studied by Rockwell durometer according to ASTM D785. |
