Basically the role of the conductive agent is to enhance the electrode conductivity by filling the free spaces made by the grains of active material to form a continuous network. In this work, when LiMn2O4 is employed as a cathode active material, the selected conductive agents were prepared in order to improve the electrochemical performances such as specific charge and discharge capacities, and cycle life for Li-ion batteries. It will be more discussed about a contribution of the selected conductive agents with controlled particle sizes. |
