제목 Flexible monolithic color display with Red micro LEDs as pixel light source
초록 Recently, Many research groups and companies are interested in micro light emitting diodes (µLEDs) because they are suitable candidates for next-generation displays such as large displays, smart glasses, head mounted displays (HMDs), and head up displays (HUDs), Solid state based µLEDs have many advantages such as low power consumption, high brightness, short response time, and long lifetime. Although solid state based µLEDs have many advantages, it is still challenging to realize a display with µLEDs as pixel light source. In this study, we have demonstrated methods for creating red micro µLEDs and for assembling and interconnecting them into uLED display. Red µLEDs was transferred to flexible substrate by using the adhesive film. This transfer method is simple and easy to control the pixel pitch of µLED display.
