Biosensing is one of the most promising and rapidly growing fields in biomedical industry. Among the biosensors, strain sensors and pressure sensors have a variety of potential uses, such as real-time blood pressure measurements, voice sensing, and physical therapy. In this study, a biosensor was made with silver nanoparticles (AgNP), eutectic gallium-indium (EGaIn), and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS), which are all biocompatible. After printing AgNP on a PDMS substrate using a PCB printer, we have completed a biosensor by applying EGaIn on the circuit and washing away remaining EGaIn. The sensor’s physical properties and electrical conductivity, depending on applied pressure and strain, were also characterized. |
