Effects of applied voltage and concentration on the dye adsorption by electrophoresis in dye-sensitized solar cells |
초록 |
Since the first report on dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) based on a titanium dioxide (TiO2) semiconductor, considerable effort has been devoted to the study of DSSCs due to their low cost and high efficiency. An impressive 12.3% solar-to-electric power conversion efficiency has been reported. However, further improvements in PCE are necessary to successfully commercialize DSSCs. In order to improve PCE in DSSCs, it is important to adsorb the dye molecules uniformly within the whole surface of photoelectrodes. There are two methods to adsorb dyes on TiO2 surface such as soaking and electrophretic method. In this study, we report on effects of applied voltage and concentration on the dye adsorption by electrophoresis in DSSCs. |
