제목 Radiation-induced graft polymerization of sodium styrene sulfonate onto PVDF
초록 In order to accomplish RIGP of SSA, we used acceleration vinyl monomers such as styrene (St) and acrylic acid (AAc) for preparing ion-exchange membrane. As results, we successfully prepared the poly(St-co-SSA)-g-PVDF and poly(AAc-co-SSA)-g-PVDF membrane by RIGP method. We also characterized for the prepared membranes as follows.The ion-exchange group content of poly(St-co-SSA) and poly(AAc-co-SSA) were 9.65 and 26.3 meq/g by titration method, respectively. The proton conductivities were 0.0018 S/cm and 0.0019 S/cm at room temperature by impedance analysis, for poly(St-co-SSA)-g-PVDF and poly(AAc-co-SSA)-g-PVDF, respectively.From these results, the membranes prepared by RIGP can be used in methanol fuel cell separator.
