Formation of fluorinated siloxane/silica thin layer for anti-fouling treatment and their surface properties |
초록 |
Siloxane has been used as a binder polymer or an additive for adhesives, coatings and plastics because of properties such as water repellency, low thermal conductivity, and high flexibility, etc. Besides, it can be used as an additive of coating solution for temperature sensitive discoloration materials which demand high gloss, hardness and durability. Above all, water repellency property is one of demands for improving the quality related to a reliability and stability of coating materials. In this study, siloxane precursors with low surface energy were synthesized by the sol-gel reaction and characterized. And then transparent water-repellent coating layers were fabricated using synthesized siloxane-modified polysilazane solutions on the plastic film. The layers appeared transparent hydrophobicity, good chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and hardness as measuring above 109˚ water contact angle and as 4H pencil hardness at a load of 500g. |
