제목 Enantioselective Chemical Sensing Using Graphene-based Chemical Sensor Device
초록 Discrimination of enantiomeric chemical compound is one of the most important goals in chemical and biological fields because of the different properties of enantiomers originate from their different chirality. Here, we report the fabrication of graphene transistor-type sensor functionalized with chiral functionalized pyrene. Synthesized chiral functionalized pyrene molecule itself showed different photoluminescence signal intensity for addition of different β-citronellol enantiomers. Graphene sensor device was fabricated using solution deposition of chiral functionalized pyrene due to the strong π-π interaction between graphene and pyrene. Fabricated sensor successfully discriminated enantiomer of β-citronellol, in vapor phase sensing. Our results represent a significant step towards the improvement of chiral electronics field.
