제목 Transdermal Delivery of Ketorolac from Monolayer Type Matrix System: Pharmacokinetics of Rabbit Skin Penetration
초록 Ketorolac is a powerful anti-inflammatory drugs. However, the oral delivery for more than 5 days are strictly prohibited due to its severe side effect such as gastric upset and the development of ulcer. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of trnasdermal delivery of ketorolac. The transdermal delivery of ketorolac monolayer type matrix system with various enhancers has been prepared. The penetration in vitro test was carried out hairless mouse and guinea pig skin and in vivo test of using rabbit, as result of rabbit penetration test, pharmacokinetics was evaluated at Cmax (㎍/ml); 0.157, Tmax (hr); 13.3, and AUC (㎍·hr/ml); 2.713, respectively. In conclusion, ketorolac monolayer system prepared in this study proposed provided constant and continuous therapeutic drug levels in blood.
