제목 Iodine vapour doped polyaniline nanoparticles as a catalytic counter electrode in dye sensitized solar cells
초록 Polyaniline (PANI) dispersions consisting of 10-20 nm sized nanoparticles were prepared by oxidation with ammonium peroxydisulfate (APS) in sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) micellar solutions. A methanol-based colloidal dispersion containing 5 wt% PANI was spincoated onto fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass to use as counter electrodes (CEs) in dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The surface resistivity of the PANI layer on the FTO glass decreased after post-doping with concentrated Iodine vapor for 10 min. The post-doped and highly oxidized PANI allowed the electrons to move into the PANI layer readily and facilitated the electrocatalytic reaction of the I3-/I- redox couple, giving enhanced cell performance.
