제목 Aqueous phase reforming of glycerol using bimetallic PtCo supported catalysts; effects of metal-support interaction to catalytic activity
초록 Aqueous phase reforming (APR) of biomass-derived glycerol (GL) was investigated using as bimetallic platinum and cobalt supported on ceria-niobia having different molar ratio in a fixed-bed tubular reactor. Biomass-derived polyols conversion to valuable chemicals is an important route to produce useful petrochemicals in gaseous and liquid phase. The bimetallic novel and transition metals impregnated by incipient wetness impregnation method on metal oxide supports were synthesized by wet-impregnation. A different metal-support interaction through the surface characterized such as TPR, CO-chemisorption, in-situ FTIR, XPS and XAFS.
