제목 Dispersion and Mechanical Properties of Epoxy Nanocomposites containing Grafting Carbon Nanotubes with Dodecylamine
초록 The goal of this work is to obtain a homogeneous dispersion of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) into epoxy resins and also to prepare epoxy/functionalized MWCNTs nanocomposites. The MWCNTs functionalization is performed by grafting the nanotubes with dodecylamine, and the effects of the MWCNTs functionalization on dispersion, thermal, and mechanical properties studied. From these results, it is confirmed that the dispersion stabilities of the MWCNTs in epoxy resin can be improved by grafting MWCNTs with dodecylamine, and mechanical properties of the epoxy/MWCNT nanocomposites can be increased by the grafting with dodecylamine.
