제목 Synthesis of Nano Powders by Thermal Plasma Process
초록 Thermal plasma is a promising technology to produce composite nanoparticles of various metals or metal oxides, taking advantage of extraordinarily high processing temperature typically around 104[K]. In such a high temperature environment, extremely fast and intense chemical reactions can take place, and exceptionally quick quenching rate is attainable with a proper cooling system, which are essential for the synthesis of nanoparticles. This study investigates effects of key process conditions, such as plasma gas flow rate and precursor feed rate as well as feeding position, on the average particle size of the nanopowder generated by a DC plasma jet.
