Bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) polymer solar cells (PSCs) based on composites of conjugated semiconducting polymers and soluble fullerene derivatives have received much attention in the field of renewable energy sources. In current, there is a growing consensus that the most prominent application of PSCs is semitransparent solar cells for building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). In this work, we have demonstrated semitransparent polymer solar cells with solution processible oxide/metal/oxide transparent electrodes using ZnO and conductive silver nanowire (Ag NW). The average transmittance of OMO electrode and whole device transmittance were 60-65% and 10-15%, respectively. Currently, we achieved 1.5% power conversion efficiency from semitransparent polymer solar cell based on poly (3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT) and [6,6] -phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PC61BM) and it is currently still under improvement. |
