Photo- and Electroluminescence of New Iridium Complexes Mixed with Poly(vinylcarbazole) and photo patterning of Poly(vinylcarbazole)Oxtane |
초록 |
We report the photo- (PL) and electroluminescent (EL) properties of phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes based on poly(9-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) doped with cyclometalated Ir(III) complexes. We find that the presence of the carbazole moieties attached to the ligands of the Ir complexes greatly improves the miscibility between the host and the complexes, and thus facilitates an efficient energy transfer from the host to the Ir complexes. We observe strong red emission (λemission = 610 − 670 nm) from the PLEDs with the efficiency higher than 2 cd/A. We have synthesized the poly(3,6-bis(10-((3-methyloxetan-3-yl)methoxy)decyl)-9-vinylcarbazole) (PVK-Ox). The photo- and electroluminescence properties of the photo patterning polymer will reported. |
