In this study, nano-needle clusters with nickel cobalt oxide (NCO) bridged to polymer dots (PD) were prepared through hydrothermal reaction and pyrolysis to create a high-performance glucose detection sensor. In PDs-NCO, the two effects of the conductivity of PD and the activity of NCO gave excellent electrocatalytic activity for glucose detection. The developed PDs-NCO coated Nickel foam (NF) electrode exhibited a sensitivity of 806.17 μA mM-1 cm-2, a detection limit of 2.75 μM and good selectivity, at the detection range of 5 μM-0.25 mM. In the continuous detection of glucose, it showed a persistence of 90.1% even after 30 days of use. Furthermore, we can easily monitor glucose on your smartphone using Bluetooth.
