The Sn/Co-embedded CNFs (defined as Sn-Co/CNFs) were prepared through the process of stabilization for 5 hr at 280℃ in air and carbonization for 1 hr in 700, 800, and 900 ℃ in N2 after electrospinning the mixed solutions, which polyacryilonitrile (PAN) is dissolved into both Sn acetate and Co acetate as metal precursors in N,N-dimethylforamide (DMF). With the increase of temperature, the fiber diameter decreases due to more burn-off, while the particle size increases owning to the development of crystallinity by agglomeration. The Sn-Co/CNF-800 shows both high specific capacity and excellent retention as compared to other samples, by preventing volume change and facilitating ions/electrons transfer caused by the distribution as nanosized metal particles in CNF and fully interconnected pore structures with high porosity and large specific surface area. |
