제목 Fabrication of graphene sheets decorated with TiO2 nanorods and their electrorheological characteristics
초록 Graphene sheets decorated with titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanorods were fabricated using nonhydrolytic sol–gel approach and applied as a dispersing material for electrorheological (ER) fluids. Graphene sheets decorated with TiO2 nanorods show higher ER efficiency than that of GO sheets and exhibit unprecedented ER performance in low concentration. In addition, dielectric loss model was used to verify ER activities of graphene sheets decorated with TiO2 nanorods. The dielectric property analysis explains that an introduction of TiO2 nanorods has been colligated with a short relaxation time of interfacial polarization and a larger practicable polarizability. Accordingly, the combination of high dielectric constant of TiO2 nanorods and a large specific surface area of graphene sheet has a considerable synergy effect and has a great affect on the ER activity.
