Organic transistors have received great attention because of their viable potential for low-coat manufacturing of transistor arrays that can be applied for display backplane, memory devices, and other active switching electronics. When they are fabricated on a plastic substrate. To realize all these advantages of organic transistors, organic semiconductors (as an active channel) are understood to be polymeric materials even though soluble small molecules are attempted recently. Of various polymeric channel materials, regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) has been widely used and the charge carrier mobility of P3HT transistors has reached that of a-Si transistors. In this presentation, as one of basic studies to improve the performance of P3HT-based transistors, we attempted a dry ion treatment to the active channel of transistors. Here the device result will be displayed together with supporting information analyzed by employing a variety of tools. |
