제목 Optimum conditions for the capture of carbon dioxide with activated carbons
초록 Porous carbons have gained particular interest because of their distinct porous structure, which possesses large pore volume, tunable pore-size distribution, and high specific surface area. To improve CO2 capture performances of activated carbon, we have prepared samples with different ratios of NaOH through chemically activation. The textural properties were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption-desorption isotherms using Bruanauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The morphological properties were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). CO2 capture performances were evaluated at 298 K and 1 bar. From the results, it was confirmed that the CO2 adsorption capacity increased with increasing the amount of NaOH.
