The studies of the transport processes in the region of the wall of the tubular baffle in an agitated vessel
Transport processes in the region of the wall of the tubular vertical baffle, located in the agitated vessel of inner diameter D = 0.3 m, were analysed experimentally. The measurements of the distributions of mass transfer coefficient on the wall of the baffle, which was an element of the coil, were performed using an electrochemical method. Assuming an analogy between mass and heat transfer processes, the results of the studies enable to predict the profiles of the heat transfer coefficient on the wall of the vertical tubular coil.
