Modelling of highly viscous liquid flow in a tank with screw impellers
Using experimental data concerning measurements of the torque acted on the shaft of the screw impeller parameters of two-dimensional model describing flow fluid in the mixer in laminar range of mixing were settled. Next, theoretical distribution of velocity in the tank was determined and influence of basic geometrical parameters on fluid circulation in the mixer was discussed.
