The influence of axial dispersion on breakthrough curves for adsorption systems with nonlinear equilibrium
This paper presents a comparison between the breakthrough curves obtained by a mathematical model of adsorption in a column and experimental curves. The results are satisfactory for Pe congruent to 7. The considered model takes into account mass transfer resistances in both phases and a non-linear equilibrium.
