The paper presents the effect of geometrical parameters on pressure drop across tube bundle in heat exchanger. Such parameters as: the configuration of tubes, tube spacing, tube outside diameter (for ideal tube bundle), technological leakage between baffle and tube, technological leakage between baffle and shall (for flow across tube bundle in shell-and-tube heat exchanger with baffles) cause drop of even to 50 % the heat transfer.
