Examples of applying a stochastic optimisation procedure SANS based on the application of a simplex in the frames of simulated annealing strategy arc given. The procedure was used to solve the problems of chemical and process engineering. Guidelines are given for control parameter settings and a choice of a simulated annealing scheme.
