The analysis of the dynamics of a cascade of two continuous stirred tank reactors with a divided recirculation stream at each stage is presented. Two types of the system were numerically investigated: with- and without the time delay in a recirculation loop. In the first case, the occurrence of a fully developed dynamic system and new possibilities of control were found. In the other, one single and multiple periodic oscillations occur. The results are presented as time series plots, phase trajectories, Feigenbaum diagrams and Poincare maps.
