Comprehensive model for particle aggregation, deposition and coating during precipitation
Processes of formation and aggregation of nanoparticles as well as formation of thin films by deposition of nanoparticles and heterogeneous nucleation from the solution on walls and substrate particles (coating process) are studied. It is shown that both chemical composition of the solution and details of the suspension flow affect the process. To account for these effects the Batchelor model of microflow and the Gouy-Stem-Grahame double layer model are used.
