Results of the studies on the performance of an impeller with coiled rotary paddles are discussed in the study. It was found that mixing time depended almost to the same extent on the number of blades and frequency of impeller rotations. In terms efficiency of the operation, the best solution is an impeller with the biggest number of blades of a small pitch.
