Heat transfer in a mixing vessel with various types of vibratory agitators
The equations describing heat transfer in a vessel equipped with reciprocating have been presented. The experimental investigations were realized in a vertical cylindrical vessel with a heating jacket using the flat plate without perforation agitator and an agitator of a new construction. The heat transfer coefficient was calculated at steady-state conditions. The results of calculations were presented graphically as well as in the form of a modified Nusselt-type equation.
