Easy-open peel packaging has long proved successful for food products. Polybutene-1 (PB-1) from Basell is used as a component in the sealing layer. Now EK-Pack - in collaboration with the distributor Ultrapolymers - has developed films with PB-1, from which practical peel pouches for surgical instruments and equipment can be produced.
