A review with 17 refs. covering introduced and planned refinery configuration modifications (exemplified on 3 process flowsheets) intended to increase the overall yield of white products and to meet the ever-exacting gasoline and oil quality requirements, with particular reference to introduction of hydrogen-based processes and to synthesis of high-octane components of engine gasolines.
