Three various surfactants were adsorbed on a glutaraldehyde-deactivated activated sludge from a sewage treatment plant. The adsorption of Na dodecylsulfate was described by the Langmuir isotherm. The isotherms of adsorption of Na C10-13-alkylbenzenesulfonate and nonylphenylpolyoxyethylene ether were linear.
