Toxicological state of beeswax used in the cosmetic industry
Twenty-five beeswaxes for cosmetic industry were collected in each of 2 regions of Poland and analyzed for Zn, Cu, Pb, As and Cd contents by emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma after preliminary mineralization. The Pb content exceeded the allowable limits.
