Status of in development of co-rotation twin-screw extruders for the extrusion of polymer composites was presented. Criteria for selecting and engineering design of the systems and selection of the plasticizing extrusion conditions were identified. The procedure for studying the twin-screw extrusion by statistical methods was described.
