Use of Bacillus megaterium in solubilization of phosphorus
Poultry bones, phosphorite and Ca-3(PO4)(2) (for comparison) were solubilized in Bacillus megaterium culture for 10 days. The highest solubilization degree (70-80%) was achieved for the bone concn. 2-4 g/L. The highest concn. of P2O5 was 1280 mg/L for bone concn. 20 g/L.
