Two polyhexamethyleneguanidines were used in application of UV absorbers (1%, 1.5%) on a cotton knitted fabric (175 g/m(2)). The fabrics showed excellent efficiency in protection against UV radiation and good antimicrobial properties against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
