Economic-energetic analysis of multi-edge comminution of polymer recyclates
Polypropylene and poly(vinyl chloride) waste were disintegrated in a lab. multi-edge grinder equipped with drums or discs with round or polygon holes (500-2100 rpm) to det. the energy consumption for comminution. The energy losses were only 0.5-0.67% of the energy reserves in the disintegrated polymer waste.
