The polyethylene film has been used in industry production. In this article, the Polyethylene (PE) film was fabricated as Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor Film (VCI-F) by adding proper Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor, and the anticorrosion effect of VCI-F was studied by accelerating corrosion experiment. The result shows that the VCI-F exhibits significant anticorrosion effect and its maximum useful-life was up to 8 years. So it can prevent metal and alloy material from corrosion. The microstructure shows the distribution of Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor in the VCI-F possesses the FGMs structure which is responsible to the anticorrosion effect.
