Polyolefine-based nanocomposites as prospective materials for electrotechnical applications. Study on flammability
Low-d. polyethylene and CH2=CH2/AcOCH=CH2 copolymer were flame-retarded with Al(OH)(3) or optionally with small addn. of nanolays. Flammability properties were tested by detn. of limiting O-2 index, by using an American std. method or by cone calorimetry. The flammability degree of nanocomposites was lower than described in current literature.
