Empirical thermodynamic model of coal gasification with air
Empirical thermodynamic model of coal gasification was constructed. Model was based on free Gibbs energy minimization and modified with empirical equil. const. for Boudouard and water gas shift reactions. Kinetic effects of fluid bed gasification in a the model were included. The model overestimated the yield of MeH and underestimated yield of CO. The inclusion of empirical modifications resulted in a decrease of the error of the gas components share below 20%. It was acceptable regarding exp. data collected with circulating fluid bed reactor of 150-300 kg/h coal throughput.
