VOCs 촉매산화공정의 혼합물 경쟁흡착에 따른 전환특성
Conversion characteristics of VOCs Mixture with Competitive Adsorption in Catalytic Oxidation Process
The oxidation kinetics of aromatic solvents and their mixture were studied over 0.5% Pt/γ-Al2O3 catalyst at temperature ranging from 160∼350℃. An approach based on the two-stage redox model was used to analyze the results. The deep conversion was increased as the inlet concentration rate was decreased and the reaction temperature was increased. A simple multicomponent model based on two-stage redox rate model reasonably good predictions of conversion over the range of parameters studied. The kinetic parameters of multicomponent model were independently evaluated from the single compound oxidation experiments. Conversion of toluene was inhibited by benzene. The reaction model reveals that there is a competition between the two reactants for the oxidized catalyst. Benzene competes more effectively for the oxidized site and is thus oxidized more rapidly.
