The effect of selected pesticides on survival of worker honeybees (Apis mellifera L.) and contents of chromium and silver in their bodies
Six com. pesticides were tested for honey bee mortality and cumulation of Ag and Cr in their body. The pesticides were delivered with a sugar syrup. One of the insecticides was particularity toxic (100% toxicity). The presence of the pesticides in syrup resulted in a decrease in its uptake but did not affect the Ag and Cr content in the bees body.
