A multicomponent NPS(M) fertilizer, Mg carbonate lime, urea and superphosphate were applied for grain maize growing in a field expt. The fertilization did not play any significant role in the nutrient uptake and their content in maize. The accumulation of macronutrients was intensified at tasseling during kernel development and maturation.
