Co-combustion of rubber waste with gaseous fuel in the fluidized bed
Samples (4 g) of synthetic fibers, steel reinforcement, and chlorinated copolymers were sepd. from tire wastes and burned in a mixt. of air and fuel gas fed into the reactor at speeds 1.92.10(-3) and 3.42.10(-4) m(3)/s, resp. The increase of bed temp. and height resulted in a decrease of emissions of volatile compds. and NOx. An adverse effect of CI content on the waste the emissions was obsd.
