Three ash-sludge blends were prepd. by mixing laundry wastewater sludge with straw or wood-burning ashes or fly ash and studied for chem. compn., phys. properties and phytotoxicity against cress, mustard and barley. Phytotoxicity test proved the applicability of both the sludge and the blends in some areas of waste management including the agriculture (remediation and adaptation of soil).
