라만 분광실험을 이용한 전기전도성 PEDOT:PSS 박막에 대한 이온성 액체의 영향 연구

Polyethylene glycol을 이용한 doping 또는 이온성 액체의 후처리 과정을 통하여 전도도가 향상된 poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS) 박막을 얻을 수 있었다. PEDOT:PSS를 도핑하기 전과 후 라만 스펙트럼에서 PEDOT thiophene ring의 대칭신축운동 밴드를 curve-fitting으로 분석하면 quinoid 구조의 피크세기가 benzoid 구조 피크에 비하여 상대적으로 커지는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이와 같은 라만 피크 세기 변화를 조사함으로써 도핑에 의한 PEDOT 사슬 구조의 변화와 이에 따른 전기전도도의 증가를 설명할 수 있었다.
Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) thin films with improved conductivity were obtained through the polyethylene glycol doping process or ionic liquid post treatment. By the curve-fitting analysis of the symmetric stretching vibration of thiophene ring in PEDOT:PSS Raman spectra obtained before and after the doping process, it was found that the peak belonged to the quinoid structure increased its intensity compared to the peak of the benzoid structure. The observed conductivity enhancement due to the structural change of PEDOT chains could be explained using the Raman experimental data.
