Ten com. diagnostic exhaust gas analyzers were tested in vehicle inspection stations for the quality of vehicle emission control to check the efficiency of the analyzer legalization. Pump failures and leakages were major defects in the analyzers (frequency up to 19% and 20%, resp.). Extended unceratines in CO, CO2, hydrocarbon and O-2 detn. were also given.
