Effect of rapeseeds ozonation on the oil color
Rapeseeds were treated with O-3 (concn. in the air 0.05 or 2 mu g/L, time 15-180 min) and pressed to produce oil samples. Their color was detd. by spectrophotometry. Seeds ozonation resulted in slight discoloration of the oil by reducing the content of carotenoids and chlorophylls.
