The importance of ferrites in making useful devices is well known. They are used in the form of ceramics in various devices. The incorporation of ferrites in elastomer matrices can lead to the development of composites meant for permanent magnets and also for high frequency applications. An investigation into the incorporation of ferrites is undertaken and the results of the initial studies are presented.
