A radiation method to obtain antistatic polymer composites
Antistatic polymer composites have Been obtained on the basis of soot-filled low-density polyethylene (LDPE). A programmable change of their specific volume resistivity could be reached. A radiation-induced resistivity transition from 10(14) down to 10(10) Omega has been found in the high-resistance state. The dose dependence of strength-deformation behaviour was examined for these antistatic polymer composites.
